The opening race in Kolin was held on huge track with flat carpet surface, good visibility throughout the day, big pit area right next to the track and high attendance in all categories.
The race day had on schedule three on-road and two off-road categories. There was also short course off-road category on schedule prior the race day, however a lot of drivers did not hit the place and so it was cancelled.

TC category
The fastest category had 20 drivers on starting grid and among them couple of the best drivers from Czech. The race favorites before the race were Jirka Vysin and Peter Grof. After the race more satisfied was the first named, Jirka Vysin, taking the victory in front of Peter Grof in second place and Honza Kanina in third. Honza Kanin had a great pace and did not give any chance to his competitors behind him to round up the podium. Great performance was also shown by Honza Domansky and Miro Cerva.

TC Limited category
It is no surprise that this category with 17.5 motors drags attention of a lot of drivers. Reasonable speed and good steering control give a chance for respectable results even not in top driverâ™s hands. Victory was taken by the most successful driver of the last two seasons, Ales Pelikan with his XRAY T4â™15. Michal Kneys, another experienced XRAY driver, tried hard with his T4â™15 to catch up with Ales, but Ales Pelikanâ™s pace was unbeatable this time. Third on the podium was Radovan Durana in front of Standa Nemecek in fourth. It would be a mistake not to mention also great performance shown by Milan Krecka (5th place) and Dan Pelikan (6th place).

TC Kadet category
A new category dedicated to youngsters up to 13 years of age giving them a chance to race without adults who sometimes act as nerve-strainers on the track and driverâ™s stand. Of course it is also intended to attract new young faces to this technical adrenaline sport.

1/10 4WD buggy
24 drivers from all around the Czech Republic took part in this category and it was lot to see here. Already the qualification was an interesting fight for prestigious A-main finale with only 8 places on the grid. This category also attracts spectators by jumps and other interesting terrain layout elements. Michal Blahovsky, the 2WD category winner, won in front of Martin Korinek. Zdenda Miksovsky even with almost no experiences was able to defeat the rest of the field and finished 3rd. Compliments go also to young Milan Mudra who drove in 6th place.
